Craft Cafe

After five hours of revision yestarday i decided to take a break and finish some knitting just to give my head a rest lol. I think this is my favorite pattern of all the ones i've stitched as it's not to boring and the bell pattern along the egde is so adorable! I've still got the arms and back to do and this is a nice project to use as a revision break as it does not require messing up my room to find all the bits i need. When it's finished and if i think it look nice enough then i will hold a give away for it.

I thought I'd start something new as I've become board of stitching so I've picked up my knitting to help my mum with an order from work. This is the beginnings of a baby cardigan from a SIRDAR pattern in double knit, it took four tries to get this pattern right and i almost gave up but I'm glad to say i stuck to it and its coming along lovely. We have had some weird weather lately one minute its raining hard enough to break windows and the next its sunny and theirs not a cloud in the sky strange and really awkward when you wanna go shopping but are afraid of getting caught in the rain lol . It snowed on friday while i was on the bus to college, i was just sitting at the back of the bus reading 'Every Boy's Got One' by Meg Cabot when i looked up it was snowing, it was so lovely to see snow after all the rain we've had lol. This weekend was taken up by christmas prezzies, i have nearly finished hollie's strawberry nice book bag and mums tatty teddy bear pillow is also nearly done i just need to buy some more red cotton to finish it. I have also started making a pair of arm warmers because as you can see its getting rather cold here in england lol im not sure about the colour but they keep me warm as the wool is very thick i think it feather(but i could be wrong lol). have a nice week!

Ok so i was going through my room the other day and found a mountin of projects i never finished that i had hidden while my room was being decorated (i should be ashamed). so i used the hole weekend to sort out my room to make sure there were no other little projects playing hide and seek (there were no others thank god lol) and to finish of the ones i found. The first one is a winne the pooh pillow cover that i have backed in red fur for chelsea for christmas . I also found a unicorn cross stitch that have to take some pics of for next time. Also i finished the green sparkly scarf for the cold mornings that have arrived and will be here untill next year lol but i think my lion bag has taken a liking to it !

I have spent this week making a very grovey pair of mittens (if i do say so my self lol) for the coming winter, it took me a couple of tries to get the pattern right but i got it in the end. The only problem is that their a little to big ! never mind. hope every one in englands preparing for a very cold winter, with scarfs, gloves and hats lol, its so cold on a morning waiting for the bus to college.

My good god it going to winter soon and you can tell that from the weather up here its really getting cold on a morning baring in mind that leave the house at seven every morning lol so thats why i thought id knit this..... Its a nice green sparkly scarf it really realy soft only problem is im running out of wool and it £2 a ball so i have to wait till tomorrow for my EMA lol The christmas cards are coming long great we've finished four and i'll post the pics soon. Sorry, i've a bad habbit of negleting this blog at the moment but i do have a good reason, im redoing my bedroom because im totally sick of how it looks right now and i spend a lot of time in it sewing so i thought it was time for a change! So because my bedroom is like a war zone i've mostly been knitting. Its all baby stuff but not actualy for a baby it's just, its small enough for me not to get board or stuck! My favourite out of all of them is the orange jumper, because it was fun to knitt and its my firts jumper! Sammyjo P.S. hope everyones having a nice summer
