Now for days I've been complaining to my partner about the post and how most of the stuff I've ordered for Christmas has not come but this morning i got a lovely surprise as all my parcels came, plus one i didn't know about so imagine my smile when i pulled this from the packet! This is Izzy's first stocking and i must say i love it! Her great Nannie , the woman who spent many hours teaching me to stitch after my mother laid the foundations, made this for her and may i just say that i have never met anyone faster or as perfect at stitching as my Nannie (although sally does give her a run for her money!) Well its been quiet around here of late with all Christmas shopping, baby demands and stitching, yes i have managed to fit that in some how! Here is a little sneak peek at what I've been doing lately whilst neglecting my BF, he shouldn't mind though as it is for him. I'm hoping to have this finished by the end of next week so i can concentrate on my table runner for Christmas day, we'll see how it works out. SJ

So i must have had a crazy moment last week because i decided that a Christmas table runner made completely from hexagons would look really nice on my table this year! Well I've started but as most of you ,who have done hexagon projects, know its slow progress! I must admit they are fun and easy to make! And i am getting somewhere... Hopefully it will be finished before Christmas but i also have two cross-stitched stockings on the go as well so we'll see. Take Care SJ

Well that chocolate cake is long gone! YUM :D Mostly this week I've been stitching Christmas cards and believe it or not i actually finished my Christmas blankie of which i will post pic next time! :D This one was stitched by younger sister Chel and both pics were taken by my youngest sister Hollie, both of them have decided that I'm sleeping in their room on the floor on Christmas eve as we used to share a room when we were younger :D i guess i have no say in the matter

God i didn't even realise that this year is almost over and yet i feel like i've done nothing! :( Oh well new year new start! :) Well other than changing my blog layout again! studying, applying for uni and working, i havent really been upto much. Mostly just been coming home from work and going to my room to do one of the above :) but i have managed to fit in some stitching as im allowed to sell my christmas cards in the shop :) i wonder if i'll sell any? These are two that i've just finished and need to be made into cards. The one on the left felt like it took forever to stitch but i got there in the end and im glad i did because its so cute! I knew there was something i had to do! lol sorry for the long pause, its just i haven't really had that much time to post or even stitch for that matter!. I've been helping my friend move homes, getting ready for my trip to wales (more about that in a minute) and generally freaking out! It feels like I've lost a week somewhere along the line but cant think how! Oh well there is nothing i can do about it now;) Right first of all I'll explain the trip to wales, its for a job interview and it last all weekend from the 12th till the 14th, i have to travel all the way to wales for the interview and them on the Sunday I'll find out if i get the job! if i do i say for an extra weeks training and then i come home to collect my stuff ready to move to which ever center i get placed in. The job will be an activities instructor with a firm called kingswood, where we do everything from climbing to archery with kids. I've been waiting nearly a hole year to apply for this and...

Well as most of you know its only four whole months away from Christmas and if your anything like me you'll have a list a mile long of the things you wanna make for it, so what better time to get started than now :) These are just a few bits I've been playing with, the two above are going to be Christmas cards and this below is either going to be a blanket or a wall hanging i haven't decide which yet :) Also this week i turned 18 which was quite fun :) i didn't do anything major just hung out with my family and got some really great presents :) Including my Super Junior album that arrived just after! I was so happy when this came though the post from Korea :) yeahy! I also got this really cute money box and snow globe from the Beatrix potter collection, and lots of other gifts too! I fell in love with this the moment i saw it :)

To make are last day in college memorable we all decided to go out on to the field during our free periods and play twister, trying to fly a kite and just some general messing around! The games of twister were quite fun but the kite did really wanna play lol We finally got it up in the end but i don't have a pic to prove it so you'll have to take my word on it XD. After finally being finished with all the revision and exams I've had time to nearly complete the Christmas angels project that has taken me a century to do lol All that needs doing now is the back stitching and then its done! yeahy hope your all having a good week

Last week was a bit slow as i had a tone of homework to hand in so i didn't get much stitching, reading or sewing done! But i did get my coursework results which have put me in a brill mood that with last a least a week as i got two B's yeahy!. However i did manage to get some stitching done on the christmas angel's not much but some... ... i only have a little left to do then i can start something new as im only allowed to have three cross stitches going at once (new rule i set for my self!) This week i've only been able to do a little stitching due to the installing of a new boiler in my sisters room. It means that we have a constent supply of hot water which sounds great for a house with four women in it but the down side is i can not get to all of my stuff at the minute! I cant wait to have my room back to normal! lol

Im really flying through this christmas angelscross stitch its really simple and colourful so its fun to stitch and i already half way through it lol. I think im going to keep this one and make it into a cover for a photo album for christmas photos.

I was getting bord of stitching light summery designs so i thought id start some christmas stitching early as i want to stich quite alot for christmas this year so i thought it would relieve some of the presure that i experince as christmas closes in lol. This is an angel design that i've been wanting to do for a while but have never gotten round to. Secondly is the summer stitching i told you im gettin bord of this is one of another three i've stitched to make into coin purses the pattern still needs some work but its getting there! I am happy to tell you all that i finally finished my alexander the great coursework at 1.30am last night and handed it in to day. let me just say what a relief it was now i can stitch the rest of my christmas prezzies without feeling guilty lol. Speaking of christmas it only like 11 days away now, were did 2007 go anyway ? So as a treat to my self i started this I've spent the hole day sewing away at it and it felt so good im hopeing to have it done by christmas but we'll have to wait and see. Now contestant number ten is someone you either love or you hate like marmite! Jonathan Rhys Meyers ummmm! starr of The Tudors and bend it like beckham.

Today i woke up and was in the mood to stitch so i thought i might as well stitch some another Christmas card, because lets face it you can never have too many! Also it might help with the fact that it really does not feel like Christmas this year, i think its because I'm getting older! :) I thought this pattern was really cool and funny so i desided to stitch it but the gold thread was terrible to work with, not my favourite DMC product! Also did i tell you about the little competition me and my sister Chelsea have every year because she is diabetic! Well the aim is to stay away from anything sweet, like chocolate, cake, sweets, ice cream and other things like that for the two weeks running up to Christmas day. If one of us fails we have to buy the winner an extra Christmas gift as a declaration of the winners superme will power! :) hehehe. Oh there is one way for my sister to get around this and that is to take a funny turn which means that she need sugar to lift her blood sug...
