Craft Cafe

So if you go back a few months you'll see that i started a bear called harvey well harvey is all grown up now and he's ready to make some one smile ..... And i think that some one is my nan i think this will make a nice nail set case, what do you think? In other news i've been filling out forms for uni all week its scary to think how fast everything moves, so i'll be leaving home soon strange... Only problem is that i cant decide where to go!

After finishing the margret sherry design of the cat with the letter C, i had no idea what to do with it. So i thought i would have a go at making a case type thing for my stitching stuff such as patterns, sissors and needles and this is what i came up with.... It went from this.... To this..... There is a small patch for all my needles, a pocket foor my sissors, one for my pencils and pens and a large pocket for my patterns and mags. I like this one but getting the hole in the front the right size for the cat was alittle annoying but i got there in the end! sammyjo

things have been so mad this last month ive had exams and work and my camara is playing up so i have lots to show you when my new carama comes in a day or two. sammyjo P.S. thank you for the coments on my cat with the C and in answer to your question yes i have alot of stitching to show you soon, thank you

I have finished the c from the margret sherry althabet does'nt it look so cute. i think im going to make a blanket out of them when i've done them all!! sammyjo

Serious blog neglect, sorry i've just been so busy that i totally forgot to post! :) Hollie's birthday was ages ago, and although theres no more cake left, there is one thing she still has to show for turning 12. This is the finished cross-stitched pillow i stitched for her that was a really lovely pattern to stitch as it was not too big to make it bore me after a while! The ribbon aroung the edge took FOREVER to stitch on but i like how it looks so all is forgiven! :) The next project is this margret serry design from a stitching mag, its the letter c with one of her adorable cats! i love this one :) Again this wont take to long stitch so i wont get sick, which happens alot with bigger projects! you know when you get that feeling like you have to do somthing nice but dont Know what. well that was me on monday for red nose day untill a freind asked me to help her, when i asked what she needed she said that she needed me to starve for 24 hours!!!! dont worrie she isnt tring to kill me i am doing a sponsored 24 hour famine wont that be fun from 8 am friday till 8am 0n saturday i cant have anything to eat so far ive been sponsored £30 no food for that long what ever will i do..... sammyjoxx

I spent all week trying to finish course work and my god its boring i think ill just have my own craft shop with my mum when im older. Then i will be able to sit and stitch all day long with a nice hot cup of tea and you never now i might even extend a cafe on to the side so people can come and have a cuppa and stitch if they get sick of being in the house! what do you think!! In othe news because of my school work i havent had time to stitch which is killing me! Hopefully i'll get some time to stitch at the weekend :) sammyjo xxx
