Christmas At Home

Today i woke up and was in the mood to stitch so i thought i might as well stitch some another Christmas card, because lets face it you can never have too many! Also it might help with the fact that it really does not feel like Christmas this year, i think its because I'm getting older! :)I thought this pattern was really cool and funny so i desided to stitch it but the gold thread was terrible to work with, not my favourite DMC product!

Also did i tell you about the little competition me and my sister Chelsea have every year because she is diabetic! Well the aim is to stay away from anything sweet, like chocolate, cake, sweets, ice cream and other things like that for the two weeks running up to Christmas day. If one of us fails we have to buy the winner an extra Christmas gift as a declaration of the winners superme will power! :) hehehe. Oh there is one way for my sister to get around this and that is to take a funny turn which means that she need sugar to lift her blood sugar level, we thought that this rule was a must have seeing as i dont really want a dead sister on christmas day :)

One Last Time...

... i know i've posted countless pics of tatty but i swear this is his last vist to my blog, i just thought that seen as you have all seen him grow from crosses to a teddy bear you should also get to see him completely finished as a christmas present. It took an awfully long time to get the border straight and neat but after a few tries i managed i,ve used two different fabrics, underneath is soild red marble and the top is red silk net with gold stars. Then came the ribbon that i stitched around the outside now that was the real pain but was totally worth it when i saw my mums face on christmas day. sammyjo

Happy Halloween

Hi guys, Happy Halloween to you all :D Little miss had a very fun day dressed as a kitty all day. then her grandad and auntie took her trick or treating for hour while mummy handed out sweeties to other little 'monsters'. I love Halloween just because you have an excuse to dress your little humans up all cute or scary for the fun of it. I have no doubt that this wont be the one and olny time my daughter wears this dress as she had fun pretending to be a cat and wiggle her tail all day. Hope you all had fun too Till next time Take Care SJ
